NetJets saw a 40% increase in demand for private jet travel in the UKduring the final week of August, due mainly to operational problems experienced by British Airways. The increase in NetJets UK domestic flights followed flight cancellations by BA due to the threat of industrial unrest and insufficient check in-staff to manage demand. There was also a 17% increase in flights operated by NetJets from the UK to European destinations.
