Air France will launch a route to Accra on 28 February 2017.
The SkyTeam carrier says it will serve the Ghanian capital thrice weekly from its Paris Charles de Gaulle base, initially using 208-seat Airbus A330s.
Boeing 777-200s configured with 312 seats will be deployed on the route for the summer schedule, starting 28 March.
Both widebody types are, in Air France's fleet, equipped with business-class, premium economy and standard economy seats.
Sister carrier KLM operates daily 777 flights from Amsterdam to Accra.
Air France says it wants to "support Ghana's buoyant economy, led by the development of the oil industry".
