Middle Eastern budget carrier Air Arabia is to open a new European link to the Czech capital Prague before the end of this year.
Air Arabia says it intends to commence services on the route from Sharjah on 11 December.
The carrier will operate five-times weekly to Prague. Air Arabia uses a fleet of Airbus A320-family jets.
“With the continued development of residents in the region and international tourists looking for value-for-money services, Air Arabia is focused on the continued expansion of its international routes,” says chief executive Adel Ali.
Both Emirates and its partner airline Flydubai operate between Dubai and Prague, according to FlightGlobal’s networks database.
