Allegiant Air will expand its network with three new cities in October, as it adds 10 routes.
The Las Vegas-based airline will begin flights from Redmond (Oregon), State College (Pennsylvania) and Traverse City (Michigan).
At Redmond, it will launch year-round service to Las Vegas from 3 October and to Phoenix Mesa from 4 October.
Beginning 9 October, the airline will connect State College with Orlando Sanford with year-round service. On 16 October, Allegiant will begin year-round service to St Pete-Clearwater from State College.
At Traverse City, Allegiant will launch year-round service to St Pete-Clearwater on 16 October. This will be followed by seasonal service to Punta Gorda and year-round service to Orlando Sanford from 17 October.
In addition, Allegiant will add three new routes connecting existing destinations. It will launch seasonal service between New Orleans and Grand Rapids from 3 October, and between Jacksonville and Grand Rapids on 4 October.
The ultra low-cost carrier will also link Phoenix-Mesa with McAllen (Texas) from 3 October.
Allegiant will compete against Sun Country Airlines on Redmond-Las Vegas, and indirectly against American Airlines on Redmond-Phoenix. American operates to Phoenix Sky Harbor, Cirium schedules data shows.
All the new routes by Allegiant will operate twice weekly, with Airbus A320 family aircraft.
