Cathay Pacific will start a Hong Kong-Seattle service on 31 March 2019, making the city its eighth destination in the United States.
The Oneworld alliance member will deploy Airbus A350-900s on the route.
FlightGlobal schedules data shows that Cathay will be the route's only operator, after Delta Air Lines ceases its operations between Seattle and Hong Kong on 4 October.
"We are very pleased to be introducing Seattle and to provide more convenience and choice to our customers. There are strong business, trade and cultural ties between Hong Kong and the city and we believe there will be considerable demand for both business and leisure travel on this new route," says Cathay's chief executive Rupert Hogg.
