SkyTeam carrier KLM has begun codesharing with Air Malta on the latter's flights to Amsterdam.
The codeshare, which begins with immediate effect, covers Air Malta's daily service between Malta and Amsterdam Schiphol. It deploys Airbus narrowbodies on the route. Flightglobal's Innovata schedules shows Air France-KLM's leisure unit Transavia operates twice-weekly on the route.
Air Malta last year began codesharing with KLM sister carrier Air France. "This agreement supplements our current codeshare with Air France that also offers international connectivity through the Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly hubs," says Air Malta chief commercial officer Ursula Silling.
