Laudamotion will this winter expand its network beyond Europe by adding Moroccan and Jordanian routes from its Vienna base.
Marrakech in Morocco and Jordanian capital Amman will join the Austrian carrier's network, as will a number of European capitals: Bucharest, Copenhagen, Dublin, London (Stansted airport), Madrid, Paris (Beauvais) and Rome.
Barcelona, Bergamo, Bologna, Faro, Krakow, Larnaca and Seville will also be served by Laudamotion from the Austrian capital, along with four Canary Islands destinations: Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife.
Laudamotion also intends to extend into the winter its summer services to Malaga and Palma de Mallorca.
FlightGlobal schedules data indicates that Austrian Airlines will be a competitor on several of the new winter routes, including those to Marrakech and Amman. The Vienna-based Lufthansa subsidiary also serves Bologna, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Krakow, Lanzarote, London (Heathrow rather than Stansted), Tenerife, Milan (Malpensa rather than Bergamo) and Paris.
Austrian's sister carrier Eurowings serves Barcelona, Faro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Larnaca, Madrid, Rome and Tenerife from Vienna.
Vienna is additionally served from Amman by Royal Jordanian, Barcelona by Vueling, Bucharest by Tarom, Dublin by Aer Lingus, London Heathrow by British Airways, London Gatwick by EasyJet, London Southend by Flybe, Madrid by Iberia, Milan Malpensa by EasyJet, Paris Charles de Gaulle by both Air France and Vueling, Paris Orly by Transavia, and Rome by both Vueling and Wizz Air.
