Leisure carrier Primera Air will in May 2018 launch flights to Toronto from Birmingham, London and Paris.
The airline – part of Danish-based Primera Travel Group – says it will operate thrice-weekly flights to the Canadian city from UK airports Birmingham and London Stansted, and four flights a week from the French capital's Charles de Gaulle hub.
Primera in July disclosed a plan to start transatlantic flights to US points Boston and Newark from Birmingham, Stansted and CDG in April 2018.
The new routes will be operated using Airbus A321neo jets configured with a "full-service premium and low-fare economy" cabin layout, says the carrier.
Chairman Andri Ingolfsson states: "With the efficiency of a new generation of aircraft, we are now able to offer unprecedented prices to our passengers."
He says the carrier's two-class service concept will be "perfect both for leisure and business travellers".
Primera Air's operations are based in Denmark and Latvia.
