Ryanair will in March launch flights between London Gatwick and Belfast International airport as the budget carrier opens a base in the Northern Irish city.
The route will be operated four times a day as part of its summer schedule, the airline says.
Separately, Ryanair will add frequencies on its service between Gatwick and Irish capital Dublin.
The Boeing 737 operator aims to raise its annual passenger volume at Gatwick by 60% to 1.6 million.
From London's second hub, the airline already conducts flights to Dublin, Cork and Shannon in Ireland, Spanish city Seville, and Kaunas in Lithuania, Flightglobal's Innovata schedules show.
