Budget carrier Ryanair is to reinforce its new Frankfurt Main operation with services including London Stansted, Madrid and Milan, as part of a broad expansion from the German hub.
The airline disclosed plans last year to establish a base at Frankfurt's primary airport, initially with leisure routes.
But it is to expand its operation by basing seven aircraft at the hub and taking its network to 20 destinations, including five in Italy, and seven in Spain and the Canary Islands,
Ryanair will also operate to Athens, Barcelona, Brindisi, Catania, Glasgow, Gran Canaria, Krakow, Lanzarote, Lisbon, Madrid, Milan, Pisa, Porto, Seville, Tenerife, Toulouse, Valencia and Venice.
The airline says it will introduce the routes as part of its winter 2017-18 schedule.
Its expansion will give the airline a total of 24 routes from Frankfurt Main following its decision to open Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma on 28 March this year.
