Sun Country Airlines will add two new nonstop routes from Dallas/Fort Worth.
The Eagan, Minnesota-based airline will offer twice weekly service to both Phoenix and Palm Springs from 6 February 2019.
"We’re excited to continue to expand in Dallas-Fort Worth and to offer residents more options to get away this winter," says Ben Brookman, vice-president, network and pricing at Sun Country. "We’ve seen success as we’ve grown in the market, and we look forward to introducing more guests to our exceptional customer service and low fares."
Sun Country will compete against American Airlines on both routes, FlightGlobal schedules data show. Spirit Airlines also operates to Phoenix from Dallas/Fort Worth, while Southwest Airlines flies between Dallas Love Field and Phoenix.
