Turkish Airlines has disclosed plans to boost its Middle Eastern network with nine new seasonal routes this summer.
From Antalya, the Star Alliance carrier will serve Iraqi cities Erbil and Sulaymaniyah twice weekly from 15 June, Iraqi capital Baghdad and Jordanian capital Amman at the same frequncy from 16 June, and Suadi Arabian capital Riyadh weekly from 20 June.
Three other Saudi cities are to be served from Trabzon. Turkish will begin twice-weekly flights to Qassim on 21 June, and weekly operations to Yanbu and Dammam on 22 and 24 June, respectively.
Weekly flights to Kuwait from Bodrum will start on 30 June.
All of the new routes end in September at the conclusion of the "high season", says Turkish.
FlightGlobal schedules data shows that Iraqi Airways already conducts an Antalya-Erbil service; none of the other routes is currently operated.
