Turkish Airlines is to restore services to the embattled Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in September.
Several carriers suspended operations to the city following the apparent sabotage of a Russian-operated aircraft last October.
Turkey’s embassy in Cairo has stated, via its official social media feed, that the airline will resume Sharm el-Sheikh flights on 10 September.
It describes the decision – yet to be confirmed by Turkish Airlines – as “good news” for the beleaguered Egyptian tourism industry.
