VietJet Air will finally launch flights to India from 6 December, after previous plans for such services in the third quarter of 2018 fell through.
The low-cost carrier will operate thrice-weekly Hanoi-Delhi and four times a week Ho Chi Minh City-Delhi services, using Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Cirium schedules data shows that this would be the first passenger service between the two countries.
Previously, Jet Airways flew to Ho Chi Minh City via Bangkok between November 2014 and March 2016.
