Vueling will compete against Transavia and EasyJet with a service from Naples to Amsterdam beginning this month.
The Barcelona-headquartered carrier says it plans to operate four flights a week on the route between 23 April and October.
Flightglobal's Innovata schedules show that rival budget carriers Transavia and EasyJet already fly between the Dutch and Italian cities. EasyJet is the largest carrier at Naples by seat capacity, with an almost 29% share.
That UK low-cost carrier is the second-largest operator at Amsterdam by seat capacity, with just under 8% of the market. KLM dominates with some 51%.
