Boeing is expected to announce new orders today for its Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), building on the aircraft's startling success since programme launch 18 months ago.
Boeing has clocked up more than 25 orders for the BBJ, a corporate jet based on the 737-700, has enabling the company to plan for a production rate of two a month by 1999.
"It's a tremendous success," says Seddik Belyamani, Boeing Commercial Airplane vice president, inter-national sales.
