Seen for the first time in its future service markings, Airbus’s first A330-200 multirole tanker-transport (MRTT) is pictured landing in Toulouse at the end of a test flight last week. The first of five aircraft to undergo conversion to the MRTT configuration for the Royal Australian Air Force, the aircraft will soon be delivered to EADS Casa’s Getafe plant near Madrid for modifications, including the integration of an air refuelling boom system. The aircraft will enter Australian service in 2009.
