Dunlop Aviation Services (DAS) has increased its capacity for wheel and tyre maintenance by approximately 50% following the relocation to a new factory at Coventry, in central England.

The firm is exhibiting in Hall 1 (D22). About 40% of the work carried out is on other manufacturers' equipment, including ABS, Bendix and BFGoodrich.

Bob Davies, director and general manager of DAS says: "Conditions have changed since we set up the plant at Heathrow 30 years or more ago. Our customers are based in airports all round the country, so it makes more sense to take advantage of the facilities at Coventry. Traffic in the Heathrow complex was becoming unbearable, the unit too small and there were difficulties in meeting present day environmental regulations."
