Finnair Group is aiming to capitalise on increasing demand in the independent leisure travel market by establishing a business division dedicated to the sector.
It will meet customers' leisure travel needs on the Internet, over the telephone and in retail outlets, says Finnair: "The new unit will combine the best expertise of the group's travel agencies."
Finnair Group, which has its own in-house leisure operation served by Boeing 757 aircraft, says the new division will begin operating in autumn and be led by Jari Ahjoharju.
