The new owners of Spain’s Gamesa Aeronautica plan to unveil a name for the company “in the coming weeks”. Gamesa Aeronautica will maintain its existing workforce and manufacturing sites under the ownership of Spanish savings bank Caja de Ahorros de Castilla la Mancha (CCM), which last month acquired the aerospace firm from energy company Gamesa for €45 million ($56 million). CCM says Gamesa Aeronautica will continue to operate from its existing manufacturing sites in Spain’s Basque region, as well as in Andalucia, Aragon, Castilla La Mancha, Galicia and Madrid.
