China's Great Wall Airlines has undergone an ownership change enabling it to resume operations in February.

The cargo carrier launched in May but suspended operations in August as a result of US sanctions. It was 51%-owned by China Great Wall Industry with the remaining 49% held by Singapore Airlines and a subsidiary of Singapore's Temasek Holdings. But in late November the 51% stake was transferred to government-controlled Beijing Aerospace Satellite Applications in the hope that it would lead to the lifting of sanctions.
