Independent simulator training company FSC has opened a new 12-bay simulator facility at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport.
Commercial operations began in November 2006 with the lease of a level B Boeing 737-800 simulator to Malev Airlines. FSC now operates two 737-800 simulators and one Airbus A320 full-flight machine at the airport and says it plans to install two more 737s and A320s, along with a Dornier 328 JET simulator in the coming months.
FSC managed Europe and Middle east operations of Canadian simulator training company CAE until 2005. “We are determined to build up a strong presence here at Schiphol”, says FSC managing director Bob van Balen.
