Air Astana has signed an agreement to lease three Airbus A321neos and one A320neo from AerCap.
It is unclear when the four jets, to be operated on both the airline's domestic and international networks, are scheduled to be delivered.
“AerCap is delighted to work with Air Astana to support the carrier’s expanding network in the region, particularly on longer range routes to Asia and Europe, with the most modern, fuel-efficient equipment,” says AerCap chief executive Aengus Kelly.
Flightglobal’s Fleets Analyzer shows that Air Astana has five A321neos and two A320neos, to be built between 2016 and 2019, on order. All seven aircraft will come from Air Lease Corporation.
