China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) has ordered an additional 15 Airbus A320neos, only weeks after closing a deal for 50 of the same type.
The lessor disclosed the order in a stock exchange notice, which values the deal at $1.63 billion at list prices. No engine selection for the order was listed in the notice.
CALC adds that the deal is on “similar terms and conditions” to its order for 50 A320neos that was disclosed on 29 December.
Prior to this order, Flight Fleets Analyzer showed that the lessor had 115 A320neos on order, as well as two A320ceos and one A321neo. It also has 50 737 Max and 20 Comac C919 jets on order.
