ITP is to produce the low pressure turbine (LPT) for the Trent 7000 engine for the Airbus A330neo, as a risk and revenue sharing partner through the entire life of the programme. The Spanish company will be responsible for the design, manufacture and assembly of the LPT module. In addition, ITP will manufacture the majority of the turbine’s key components and will also be responsible for integration and assembly in order to supply the module to Rolls-Royce for subsequent installation on the engine.
