Panasonic Avionics has hired former Boeing Global Services executive Ken Sain as chief executive, succeeding former CEO Hideo Nakano.
The change in command comes nearly three years after Nakano became CEO as part of a broad management shakeup at Panasonic Avionics in the wake of bribery allegations.
Nakano will remain as a “special advisor” to Panasonic Avionics, the California-based inflight entertainment provider says in a statement.
Sain was most recently vice-president of digital solutions and analytics at Boeing Global Services. He also headed of Boeing’s flight service provider subsidiary Jeppesen.
Sain worked at Boeing for 14 years, holding positions in the fields of commercial aircraft business development, technical engineering and digital product, according to Boeing.
