SR Technics' former operating chief Frank Walschot is to rejoin the Swiss maintenance provider as chief executive on 1 April.
Walschot replaces Jeremy Remacha, who is leaving at the end of a "scheduled transition period to the new shareholders", says SR Technics.
In 2016, China's HNA Group acquired an 80% stake in the MRO company from its previous sole owner, Abu Dhabi investment fund Mubadala.
Remacha had joined Zurich-based SR Technics from Mubadala.
Walschot was chief operating officer from 2015 until last year, when he moved to China to serve as chief investment officer for HNA Technic.
He had joined SR Technics in 2008, initially as vice-president of engine maintenance, and soon thereafter became head of engine services.
The maintenance provider describes Walschot as a "respected senior executive [who is] well trusted with SR Technics' business and challenges for many years".
Company chairman Ning Wan states: "Frank's valuable experience as well as his leadership skills made him the ideal candidate for this position."
