TUI Group has selected UK retrofit equipment specialist MAC Aero Interiors to supply lavatories for a cabin upgrade on a fleet of Boeing 767s.
MAC Aero Interiors says it has signed a four-year contract covering the production and aftermarket support for 20 lavatory units.
The equipment for the first two aircraft will be manufactured in the current year, with the remaining units to follow in 2020, it says.
Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that TUI has six 767-300ERs – aged between 18 and 20 years – among a fleet that also includes 737s, 747s, 757s, 787s, Airbus A330s and Embraer 190s.
MAC Aero Interiors is a subsidiary of Estonian maintenance specialist Magnetic MRO.
Earlier this month, UK seat manufacturer Mirus disclosed that it will supply its Hawk seats for TUI’s 767 cabin refurbishment programme.
The article has been edited to include the seat supply agreement with Mirus
