Turkish Airlines has disclosed that it is to acquire another three Boeing 777 freighters, to be delivered from next year.
The first of the three aircraft, powered by General Electric GE90 engines, would arrive in September 2019, followed by the other pair in January and February 2020, says the airline.
Turkish Airlines has previously ordered five 777Fs – two converted from an earlier 777-300ER deal and another three at the end of last year.
It has taken delivery of four of these aircraft.
Turkish Airlines has also stated that it is reinforcing its training capacity with the acquisition of two simulators for Boeing 737 Max pilots and three for Airbus A320 and A320neo crews.
These simulators are being supplied by Havelsan in Ankara.
