First production deliveries of the NH90 tactical transport helicopter variant have been made to launch customer, the German army. The service accepted its first three of 50 NH Industries-produced aircraft at Eurocopter's Donauwörth facility, near Munich. Two of the aircraft will be used for flight training at the German army air corps school in Bückeberg from early 2007, and the third helicopter will support maintenance training.
