NMF Canada has announced a $2.7 million expansion of its Mirabel plant, following a $12 million wing panel production contract from Israel Aircraft Industries. It is adding a second paint booth, a shot-peening area and new wing and structures machining equipment, partly financed by a $660,000 loan from Québec's Aerospace Industry Fund.
