Spin manoeuvres in the Diamond DA20 Katana two-seat trainer have been prohibited until the Canadian manufacturer develops a modification to prevent the pilot's shoe becoming jammed between the rudder pedal and the firewall, following an incident involving a Canadian-registered DV20 Katana.
