The 30 March deadline for entering the 2007 Flight Awards is fast approaching, and this year you have the chance to nominate companies to win. Then you will be able to vote on all the nominees.
The 2007 event brings together the industry's two major awards schemes from the Flight group - the 14-year-old Aerospace Industry Awards and the Aviation Excellence Awards launched in 2006 - to form a single annual event recognising excellence in both product and technology developments, and in operational achievements.
Nominations should be shorter than 200 words with links to any supporting material. They need to explain why the product, development or individual should win and how it meets the criteria. Companies and individuals can nominate themselves or others.
Nominations for the technology and product awards will go into an online voting system for readers to vote at flightglobal.com, with a final shortlist going before the judging panel.
For individual and team achievements in the operational sector, nominations will be taken by Flight staff to create a shortlist.
This prizegiving will take place on the evening of 18 June at the Pavillon d'Armenonville during the Paris air show.
