Northrop Grumman has agreed to acquire aviation systems supplier Navia Aviation, an operating unit of Norway's Navia ASA, for $35 million in cash.
The US manufacturer says that Navia Aviation will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary. It will report to Peterborough, UK-based Park Air Electronics, a unit of Northrop Grumman's electronic sensors and systems sector, which is headquartered in Baltimore.
