Los Angeles, California-based Northrop Grumman has named William Lawler corporate vice-president and general manager of its Military Aircraft Systems division. Lawler, now vice-president and deputy general manager of the division, succeeds Wallace Solberg, who is to retire. George Pickett becomes vice-president for marketing and business planning for the Electronic Sensors and Systems division in Baltimore. He will be replaced as director of Northrop Grumman's Analysis Center in Washington DC by Barry Watts, who is a retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.
