Northwest

Northwest Airlines, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has appointed Don Washburn president of its Northwest Cargo unit, and named him executive vice-president for flight operations of Northwest Airlines. Washburn replaces Bill Slattery, who is to retire in April 1998, at Northwest Cargo. Raymond Vecci is appointed executive vice-president for customer service of Northwest Airlines. He is now president of Carnival Air Lines.
