The Export-Import Bank of the United States has approved the long term financing of seven Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Norwegian Air Shuttle and committed to support the purchase of up to 20 more aircraft.

The aircraft are the first of a 42-aircraft order Norwegian Air Shuttle placed with Boeing in August 2007.
