NovoAir of Bangladesh plans to launch domestic services next month with a pair of Embraer 145 aircraft, which were previously operated by European carrier Flybe.
The Dakha-based carrier purchased the 2002-vintage aircraft from Aircraft Solutions in a transaction arranged by Airstream International Group.
The first aircraft, MSN 145573, is scheduled to be delivered next week. The second aircraft, MSN 145546, is due at the end of November.
The transaction marks the first time an ERJ-145 gets in operations in Bangladesh.
NovoAir's four initial destinations Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Jessore and Sylhet are also served by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, United Airways and Regent Airways.
