AerotechTelub of Sweden, Danish Aerotech and Nor-way's Astec Helicopter Services have signed a memorandum of agreement to form a joint venture to develop a logistics support organisation to support military helicopters. The Nordic Support and Service Centre is aimed at supporting the rotorcraft due to be purchased under the Nordic Standard Helicopter Programme (NSHP). Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are considering a joint purchase of around 70 helicopters for a range of tasks. The selection of the NSHP is due for later this year.
