Leading airliner seat manufacturer B/E Aerospace is providing an oasis of calm for the privileged passenger in the form of its Oasis first-class seat.
Oasis is not just a seat, says B/E, but a “luxury cabin environment” with its own wrap-round privacy shell and the ability to convert between an 80in fully lie-flat bed and a two-person dining and work space. It also offers intelligent LED mood and reading lights, several storage compartments, and electrically actuated recline, translation and adjustment of the arm, head and leg-rests.
B/E makes a range of cabin interior products for airliners and business jets, distributes aerospace fasteners, and provides cabin interior design, reconfiguration and passenger-to-freighter conversion services.
The company offers seats for all cabin classes – first, business, economy and regional aircraft. It has an installed base of more than a million seats in service, and can produce more than 200,000 units a year, equal to around 50% of the global annual total.
