OEMServices has won a contract to provide component support for Asiana Airlines' Airbus A350-900s.
The French-based, manufacturer-backed company – which integrates into a single customer-facing organisation the component services of a range of equipment suppliers – says the 15-year deal spans part repairs, pool access and "24/7 component support" from its main A350 regional pool, which is based at Singapore Changi airport.
OEM Services' shareholders are Diehl, Liebherr, Thales and Zodiac Aerospace, the aftermarket specialist's website indicates. It is a channel for maintenance services from several other manufacturers, too.
The Asiana agreement covers components from the four shareholders plus Meggitt and Nord-Micro, as well as Safran airframe equipment, says OEMServices.
In April, Lufthansa Technik disclosed a separate 15-year component maintenance with Asiana for its A350s. That deal covers "the larger part" of the aircraft's components and includes Honeywell equipment, LHT tells FlightGlobal.
Asiana received its first A350-900 in April and, Flight Fleets Analyzer shows, has another 11 on order, three of which are to be delivered by year-end. The South Korean airline also has eight A350-800s and 10 A350-1000s on backlog.
