Italian aeronautical company Oma Sud has won US certification for its SkyCar piston-twin, paving the way for the Italian airframer to begin delivering its high-performance aircraft into the country. The validation follows European approval for the high-wing, twin-tail Textron Lycoming IO-360-C1E6-powered aircraft, which is aimed at owner-flyers, charter, cargo, law enforcement and surveillance operators.
