Meggitt Aerospace Components has won a multi-million-dollar order to equip the German Army in Bosnia with bullet resistant vests.
The vests provide all-round protection for the soldier against threats up to and including 7.62mm armour piercing rounds, says Meggitt.
The contract follows hot-on-the-heels of another deal to supply the UK Metropolitan Police with 16,000 sets of lightweight body armour.
