Flight International online news 14:30GMT: Earth imagery provider Orbimage has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire satellite image company Space Imaging.

The deal, worth around $58 million is subject to government regulatory approvals and is expected to conclude before the end of the year.
Orbimage says: "Our combined resources will enhance the ability of our customers, such as the National Geospatial-Intelligence unit, to deliver high quality commercial satellite imagery to their users."
Space Imaging is well-known for launching the world's first one-metre resolution, commercial Earth imaging satellite in 1999.
