Embraer has taken its count of firm orders for the new E2 family to 285 after today announcing an order for 10 E195-E2s from an undisclosed customer.
The Brazilian manufacturer, which has announced a number of new orders today at the Paris air show, says the commitment also includes 10 purchase rights for the E190-E2. It values the firm-order part at $666 million, based on list prices.
The order will be included in Embraer's second-quarter backlog.
Embraer has also secured a preliminary commitment from another undisclosed customer for 20 E190-E2s. The agreement is subject to final documentation by the customer, says the airframer.
