Pratt & Whitney notes that the carrier has another 20 A321neos on order and already operates 24 A321ceos powered by International Aero Engines V2500s.

Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the airlines's fleet also includes 10 A320ceos powered by CFM International CFM56-5Bs.

PAL operating chief Jaime Bautista states that the carrier expects the PW1100G engines to "significantly reduce fuel burn" and provide passengers with a "much quieter flight experience".
