Comac has landed a firm order from Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB) Financial Leasing Company for 15 ARJ21s.
SPDB Financial also took options for another 15 units of the regional jet.
Comac says the agreement takes its order book for the ARJ21 to 528 aircraft from 24 customers, but does not state how many are firm orders.
Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the Chinese airframer has firm orders for 221 ARJ21s. Chengdu Airlines is the only operator of the type with eight in its fleet.
Separately, Comac adds that Urumqi Airlines will firm up five of its 20 ARJ21 letters of intent.
The carrier will take delivery of two aircraft by the end of the year, followed by another three in 2019.
