Turkish Airlines has firmed options on 20 Airbus A321neos and 10 Boeing 737 Max 8s.
The Max jets are to be delivered in 2021, says the listed flag carrier in a public disclosure, while the 20 A321neos will be handed over in 2020-21.
Istanbul-based Turkish adds that it has delayed deliveries of 17 A321neos from 2017-18 to 2021-22.
Airbus data shows that on 31 October the Star Alliance carrier had 72 A31neos on order.
Flightglobal's Ascend Fleets database lists Turkish as having on order 12 A321ceos, too, plus 20 737-800s and – excluding the latest conversions – 65 Max jets, these comprising 55 Max 8s and 10 Max 9s.
For widebody fleet renewal, the airline is set to add eight A330s and 10 777s.
