Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris has signed an agreement to lease four new Airbus A320s from BOC Aviation.
All four aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by May 2014, says the Singapore-based lessor.
“Volaris has come a long way in a short time, and these lease agreements with BOC Aviation show how much further we want to go to expand our network and serve the growing number of customers,” says its chief financial officer Fernando Suarez.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Online data shows that Volaris has 24 A320s and 21 A319s in service. The airline serves 33 domestic destinations and 12 US cities.
