SA Airlink has ordered nine Jetstream 41 aircraft, worth $63 million, for delivery between February and September 1995.

Swissair has ordered an MD-11, scheduled for delivery in March 1997.

Jetstream International Airlines has ordered 20 Dornier 328s, with an option for an additional 20. Elsewhere, Lone Star Airlines of Fort Worth, Texas has ordered four 328s and delivery began in January.

Lufthansa CityLine has ordered eight more Canadair Regional Jets aircraft worth $146 million. Also on order are four Avro RJ85s, which are an addition to three options included in an earlier order. The total Avro order is worth $175 million. Meanwhile Lufthansa has ordered a 747-400 and an A340-300, set for a May 1996 delivery.

Air Berlin has ordered six new generation 737-800s and one 737-400. The total order is worth $692 million, including four options on additional 737-800s.

China Yunnan Airlines has ordered three B767-300s, with options for three more. The total contract is worth $600 million.

Pantanal, a Brazilian regional airline has ordered two ATR 42-300s for delivery in February.

Tyrolean Airways of Austria has ordered three Fokker 70s, with delivery beginning in May.

Air Nostrum, a new private Spanish carrier, has ordered three Fokker 50s. Formosa Airlines, a Taiwanese regional carrier, has ordered two. Air UK has ordered a Fokker 50 for delivery in March.

Singapore Airlines confirmed its order of 10 A340-300Es, worth $5.4 billion, with an option on 20 more. Delivery is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 1996.

Berjaya Air are to buy two DHC7 aircraft from the defunct London City Airways, in a deal brokered by Fortis Prop Jet that is worth $6 million.
